Danube Cloud alternatives
Danube Cloud is an open-source platform that can run on top of several cloud services to automate the provisioning, deployment, and configuration of virtual machines, containers, and bare metal servers in any type of cloud. It is a highly scalable, resilient, and automated system that simplifies the process of managing a virtualized data center infrastructure. It can be used either as a library or independently as a shell script. Moreover, it also provides full integration with Docker to manage containerized applications.
The main features of the platform are declarative infrastructure and application management, full lifecycle automation from planning through deployment and rollback, fully extensible to support virtually any cloud provider or hardware infrastructure, and full API for integration with other systems. It is written in Python and is pluggable through a plugin system. Other notable features include a centralized mobile-friendly management portal, instant VM snapshots, VM disk replication, and support for other deployments.
