Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 is an Adventure, RPG, and Single-player video game developed by Tose. As the sequel to the Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, the player finds the same experience but with some new features. Unlike its predecessor, the player finds himself in an explorer role whose main mission is to explore various areas and tame wild monsters into his party.

The tamed monsters will combat turn-based, and as the player grows up, they will get stronger. At once, the player controls up to three monsters and issue them direct orders. This title features two new monster sizes, such as large monsters and gargantuan monsters.

Large monsters can use two spaces on one of the player’s two benches, whereas gargantuan monsters take the entire bench. The game has over 300 monsters, and the player can experience all the monsters as he advances.
