DVD Flick alternatives
DVD Flick is an open-source DVD authoring solution for Windows created by Dennis Meuwissen and released under the GNU General Public License. It is a comprehensive solution capable of importing video files, audio tracks, subtitles that compose a DVD video movie and burning it to the disc, creating ISO images for later burning. This solution supports more than 53 container formats, 42 different audio codes, and up to 72 different kinds of video codes.
It is available to use on different versions, and each new version offers new features and tools to deliver a more realistic experience. Although it doesn’t feature video editing capabilities, it can read and interpret AviSynth scripts and built a simple menu. This solution features direct stream copy for DVD compliant MPEG-2 video stream only. Still, such features are not available for audio streams, which means audio streams are always re-encoded in DVD creation.
