Emergency 2012: The Quest for Peace is a Simulation, Strategy, Adventure, Single-player, and Multiplayer video game developed by Deep Silver. It is the fifth main installment in the Emergency series, and unlike the previous games, this time, the player also serves as emergency chief of various units. Police, Firemen, Paramedics, and Engineers will help the player in getting out of emergencies before it gets too late.

Time is the essence, and every second can save the people, so the player, without wasting any second, must approach the accident site and help the people. In the campaign mode, the player completes more than12 missions with increasing difficulty scenarios. All these missions will take the player to unique locations around Europe and other larger cities.

The Free Play mode is different from the campaign mode as it allows the player to select one city among three cities where every city offers a different scenario to follow.
