GtkStressTesting alternatives
GtkStressTesting or GST is a system utility designed to test and monitor various hardware components. It is a GTK system utility designed to load and monitor various hardware components. The main focus of the application is on the processor, but it will soon add more benchmarks for RAM and cache as well. The application is written entirely in Python, and some of the stress testings are done using stress-ng. The app is available on Flathub, AUR, and Fedora CORP, but you can always download the source and build it locally.
Besides the stress testing function, it also provides a lot of information about the system. For example, it shows information about the processor (name, cores, threads, family, model, stepping, flags, errors, etc.), provides processor cache information, motherboard information (manufacturer, model, BIOS version, BIOS date, etc.), provides required root information about RAM (size, speed, rank, manufacturer, part number, etc.), provides CPU usage (% core,% user, load average, etc.), display memory usage, provides the core frequency of the physical processor (current, minimum, maximum), and shows hardware monitor (info provided by sys/class/hwmon).
