Keikai alternatives
Keikai is a Java spreadsheet component that brings Excel-like functionalities to your Web applications. It’s used as a standalone or incorporated into other frameworks and libraries. You can use Keikai as the only interface to the data for your application or incorporate it with other technologies such as Spring MVC and Spring Data REST.
The architecture of this library makes it an excellent choice for those who need to display large amounts of tabular information in a Web application. Unlike most other Web libraries, it doesn’t use HTML and JavaScript for rendering the data. Instead, it uses a built-in Java spreadsheet component. Keikai implements spreadsheet functionality using Apache PHP Object Injection code under the hood.
There are two implementations of Keikai. One is for building standalone applications; the other is for incorporation into other technologies. The standalone setup provides a JAR file containing all of the features. The libraries implementing the different features are contained in separate JAR files, so you can integrate them into your application without importing the entire archive. All in all, Keikai is a great tool that you can consider among its alternatives.
