Left 4 Dead 2 retains the co-operative zombie adventure with all-new characters, locations, enemies, and weapons from the previous game, titled Left 4 Dead 2. The most popular AI director creates a return with lots of tweaks to ensure players will always be challenged. The game offers similar gameplay to the previous but features new content.
The story follows four survivors who are suffering from a disease and become a cause of the massive outbreak that will turn most of the human population into zombie-like creatures. The storyline splits into a series of challenging missions, and it lets the player moves freely throughout the world to achieve the targets.
In the game, the player assumes the role of the protagonist, who needs to survive while searching for survivors. Left 4 Dead 2 gameplay features most of the same game mechanics as the original which helps to promote cooperative gameplay with players often succumbing to the infected when they try to go off by themselves.
