LoopBack alternatives
LoopBack is a highly extensible Node.js and Typescript framework for building APIs and microservices. A brand new algorithm for delivering up-to-mark extensibility and flexibility is written in TypeScript/ES2017. It allows you to create powerful Spec Driven APIs with a new creative experience for handling API requests or responses. LoopBack comes with a new programming model featuring dependency injection and new concepts like Mixins, Components, Repositories, etc., which makes it the most extensible version to date.
LoopBack uses Schemas to create GraphQL data definitions and uses the pre-defined links to create a nested structure for structured queries. This decides how the data from one operation can be used to query another. Query and mutation fields allow you to provide custom resolver functions to be used instead of the one created by OpenAPI-to-GraphQL. Incompatible GraphQL identifier APIs are eliminated, e.g., API parameters with unsupported characters like commas, dashes, hyphens, etc., are removed.
