The fourth game in the Total War series is set in the historical years in 1080 and 1530. The game focuses on medieval warfare, politics, and religion in the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa. It consists of two different gameplay modes as battles and single-player campaigns.
This game allows the player to take on a fraction of the period and create his own civilization, both military and economically, to conquer the other factions. It also allows the player to control all the factions in the large campaign maps. The task of the campaign depends on which kinds the player will choose. Medieval II: Total War includes core features such as different factions, upgrades, more than fifteen settlements, different characters, immersive and quite addictive gameplay, enhanced game mechanics, dynamic background music, and brilliant visual details.
