Min2Tray alternatives
Min2Tray is a utility for MS WindowsTM NT and higher efficacy to minimize and hide a window to the system tray area of the taskbar as an icon. Keeping multiple windows opened at the same time can clutter the desktop, as well as the taskbar on minimization. A workaround for this is to send some of the windows to the system tray instead since they occupy little space there with small icons. It requires no installation and silently runs in the systray, awaiting the command.
Unless you read the documentation included in the downloaded package, it can get started by heading over to the preferences panel for configuration. For example, the user can ask Min2Tray to send windows to the systray when clicking the close button and when activating a particular hotkey. A boss key list can be created with multiple windows to apply the same action to all of them at the same time. In blacklist mode, the tool minimizes all windows which have been opened on the PC, and the user can hide tray icons of the minimized toolbar with stealth mode.
