Monaco alternatives
Monaco is the monospaced typeface platform that is designed by Susan Kare and Kris. It supports the operating system of Windows and Mac. To install Monaco font on the computer simply open Monaco.ttf and then press install. After the installation is complete simply select the Monaco font from the Editorial settings. It is similar to Consolas but is more playful. Each character in Monaco is displayed a little bit larger than other Consolas which also takes the same amount of space.
It has the ability to differentiate the curly braces from the parenthesis, “0” from the letter “O”, and 1 from the letter “l”. It is basically designed as the 9 point bitmap font and works excellently for maximizing the on-screen code of the programs. The main drawback of using this platform is that it supports integration with the Mac operating system only and has the ability to select different anti-aliasing grades at the same instant of time.
