MyEnTunnel alternatives
MyEnTunnel is a top-notch solution that provides you with a way to keep the tunnels of TCP SSH in good shape along with many other advantages. Tunnels are monitored in the background by launching Plink, and if Plink goes down, then the solution will start automatically. The prominent feature is that it consumes little amount of system resources and also doesn’t put too much load on the CPU. You can use the option called “slow polling” to perform a single context switch each second.
Plink.exe is in charge of encryption and networking, and the security is not robust, so it is a good idea to avoid it for root accounts. MyEnTunnel is multilingual and supports several languages such as French, Polish, German, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese. It uses different colors of icons to alert the end-user about the connection. Red is shown in case of a connection problem, and green is displayed when the connection is successful, whereas yellow highlights connection activity.
