Ncdu is one of the advanced disk usage analyzers with a ncurses interface that entitles you to locate the space hogs on remote servers without any disturbance. Actually, it is a command-line tool to display and analyze the disk space usage on Linux by drilling down to the specific directories and report space used by the individual directories in seconds. There is no need for any extra technical knowledge to perform operations. You have to run the “ncdu” command from the terminal.
The main benefit of this platform is that all files and directories are listed sorted in descending order by their size, just like the middle column is a bar to indicate the relative size, the fully occupied bar shows that the respective disk data is large among all. Once you run, it will start scanning for a number of files and directories and disk usage of the current working directory.
