Nmail alternatives
Nmail is an open-source terminal-based email client for Mac OS X and Linux released under the MIT license. It comes with an interface with the same characteristics as pine/alpine. The inbox folder section of the email shows the time of all the received emails, the name of the sender, and the contents of the message. You can compose emails via the external editor. The attachments can be viewed or opened in the external program, and every message can be checked via the external viewer.
The local cache uses SQLite, which is optionally AES256-encrypted. Everyone can customize the color according to their requirements. Use the search function to find an email quickly. Other features include the ability to compose emails while offline, signature, saving and picking up from the last position of the draft messages, auto-generation of address book based on email messages, support for SMTP and IMAP protocols, and composing HTML emails via Markdown.
