PosteRazor alternatives
PosteRazor is a powerful and lightweight program that cuts a raster image into pieces, allowing you to take a print and assemble them into a poster. The raster image is taken as input, and the output poster is saved in the form of a multipage PDF document. It provides an easy-to-use interface to help you accomplish your tasks. The solution is compatible with Linux, Microsoft Windows, and OSX. It is released under the GNU License.
One of its best features is that it supports all image formats readable by FreeImage such as XPM, BMP, WBMP, KOALA, PhotoShop, XBM, PSD, JBIG, PPM, Kodak PhotoCD, GIF, JPEG/JIF, and LBM. It can manage multiple color types, including Grayscale, 32 Bit CMYK, 8 Bit palette, and 24 Bit RGB. PosteRazor works with several Dimension units like pt, m, inch, mm, and cm.
You can manually change the page size and printer orientation and select from the given options, including Tabloid, DIN A4, Letter, and DIN A3. Size for the final poster can be adjusted in different ways like Image Size in percent, Size in Pages, and Absolute image size. It allows for cutting spare borders and easier pasting to provide a bigger tolerance.
