RealWorldDesignChallenge alternatives
RealWorldDesignChallenge is a competition held annually to allow students studying in grades 9-12 to solve real-world engineering challenges in a team environment and become better in the process. The website adds a new challenge each year, which can be solved by student teams. The problems are the ones faced by the prominent industries of the country and need to be fixed on an urgent basis.
Students are allowed to use their favorite professional engineering tools to come up with a solution and create presentations to show the value of their solutions. The platform is the best way for students to implement the knowledge gained in the classrooms. To compete in the challenge, you will have to register a team with 3-7 members.
All the teams must have a coach, a role which can be fulfilled by a teacher or another adult for the purpose of organizing the team and maintaining discipline within the team. The team members can be changed, and new ones can be added during the registration process. After that’s done, view the “Getting Started” page and search your resources. The second last stage involves working on the challenge, whereas the final step is submitting the solution before or on the deadline.
