Rent-a-Hero alternatives
Rent-a-Hero offers a perfect mix of Action and Role-playing game elements offered by Sega AM2. The game supports only Single-player mode and uses the same graphics engine found in the Sword of Vermilion.
Rather than using turn-based battles, the game offers fighting gameplay similar to 2D beat ‘em up titles. The story follows Taro Yamada, who lives in the beautiful area of Corja with his beloved mother, father, and younger sister.
As the story advances, the player discovers combat armor accidentally during a house-warning party. A pizza boy delivers the suit mistakenly instead of pizza. After finding the suit’s strength, Taro decides to become a hero, fight against evils, and restore peace to the land where he lives.
There are many challenging levels, and each level requires the completion of specific objectives. The game increases the difficulty level as the player approaches the high stages. Rent-a-Hero is an excellent game to play with 2D graphics, brilliant fighting mechanics, and classic sound effects.
