Scid vs. PC is an open-source, powerful Chess game toolkit that you can use to create huge databases, play casual games, run chess engines, or play online with the free chess server. Some highlighting features include overhauled and customizable interface, engine versus engine computer tournaments, extra search features, including move, end-of-game, and stalemate/checkmate searches, drag & drop file opens for Windows and Linux, rewritten Game list widget with convenient context menus and buttons, and integrated Database Switcher.
Scid vs. PC comes with an improved Computer Game and FICS features, including pre-move and simultaneous observed games.
