ScreenChomp alternatives
ScreenChomp is an interactive whiteboard app that enables students or teachers to create and share screencasts. They can write on a virtual whiteboard to illustrate a concept and record their voice as they write. It offers the option of using three pens (a red marker, black pen, and highlighter), the option to set a background image from the Dropbox or device’s photo gallery library and it also offers an eraser. To demonstrate a lesson, it is easy to highlight or mark up the background image.
Use this application to record lessons for your students. You can also use its screencast as part of an alternate lesson plan to ensure your students get the instruction you want, even when you’re not around. For professional development, you can post links to your ScreenChomps on blogs or other social networks.
