Shogun: Total War developed and published by Creative Sega is an Action, Single-Player, and Multiplayer video game. The game lets the player act as a Japanese daimyo and fight off and conquer Japan through trade, diplomacy, military might, espionage, and religion.
The player can get into the two main areas of play, including the turn-based and real-time elements. The turn-based campaign introduces a map where the player can move his armies, struggle to conduct diplomacy, and even build lots of infrastructures and structures of his provinces. The player must perform numerous tasks necessary to run his faction.
While the real-time map lets the player control command of one of his armies and tries to direct the course of any battles personally. The player has to select a clan, eliminate numerous enemies, and put his efforts into becoming shogun of feudal Japan.
The game contains seven different factions and permits the player to choose one of them to play. Each of them controls several historical provinces, and each region permits for the cultivation of the entire farmland.
