The game’s story takes place 200 to 300 years after Summon Night 3 and contains references to the past game’s world and characters. The game follows two different playable characters, Folth, the male character, and Arca, the female character. Both characters have different weapons and skills. At the beginning of the game, the payer can choose his character with four other cross characters to help the player during the gameplay.
Like the other tactical role-playing games, the player’s major goal is to strategically move his characters around the grid to defeat the AI-controlled opponent’s team of characters. There are series of missions, and in each mission, the player can battle against the powerful AI to progress. Completing the number of missions allows the player to unlock new attacks and character abilities that make the game more interesting.
