It is the eleventh title in the GTA series that takes place in the fictional Liberty City in New York City. The game introduces a third-person perspective, and the player moves across the land either on foot or by vehicle. Throughout the single-player campaign, the player can control Niko Bellic and try to complete the story by completing challenging missions.
In online multiplayer mode, up to 32 players engage in both cooperative and competitive gameplay in a recreation of the single-player setting. During the gameplay, the player can heal himself using a set of techniques such as using medical kits and eating food.
