MDwiki alternatives
MDwiki is a Wiki that is built in HTML5 or JavaScript and runs on the client-server. The software requires no extra attachments or software, and with the simple Wiki tool, users need to attach mdwiki.html to the same directory for the markdown files, and they are good to go.
The service allows users to upload any file they want as their document on the internet as Wiki by attaching the mdwiki.html component with it for the markdown purpose. However, users can also use the index.MD component instead of mdwiki.html for the same markdown purpose. It does not require any remote or local installations for its working and uses Markdown as its input markup language.
It is built on Bootstrap3 to work cross-browser with a responsive layout, and it can be extended with unique Gimmicks that add rich features for the use of clients. Users can add Google Maps for geo date or highlight.js for highlighting any content on the file.
