Tofu Authenticator alternatives
Tofu Authenticator is an open-source easy to use two-factor authentication app that lets you secure your accounts with one-time passwords. The app is designed to work natively with iOS. The app doesn’t require an internet connection as it stores the keys in the phone’s hardware-based security enclave. The passwords can be used together with your normal password when you sign in to services like Google, Dropbox, Amazon, Facebook, and GitHub. The account passwords can be embedded into a QR code to share with other account users.
A search feature is also there to quickly search for the account you are looking for. Additionally, you can add them in categorized folders for easy access. It supports time-based and counter-based one-time passwords with up to 8 or 6 digits using SHA1, SHA256, and SHA512 algorithms. All your account details are stored with 256-bit AES encryption. All in all, Tofu Authenticator is a great account security app that you can use for an added layer of security.
