Tuxboot alternatives
Tuxboot is a little tool that makes it possible to create a bootable Live USB drive for Linux distributions. It helps you if you want to turn a Linux ISO file into a bootable USB flash drive. It can be used for many distributions such as Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, OpenSUSE, Arch Linux, CentOS, Slackware, Gentoo, and many more. In order to use this tool, you do not need further boot loaders or other tools like Rufus or a universal USB installer. You just need a Linux system of your choice installed on your computer.
Tuxboot will write the selected distribution in an image file onto your flash drive. It will not touch your hard drive. After that, you can boot from the created flash drive and install the distribution from there. All data on your flash drive will be deleted automatically in this case. A reboot might be necessary to start the installation at the end of the process. In short, it’s the best tool to create USB drives.
