FAI is a non-interactive program developed exclusively for installing, configuring, and handling Linux systems. Its full name is an abbreviation for Fully Automatic Installation that helps in managing Linux systems and software configurations on VMs as well as PCs and environments using chroot from small to all the way up to massive infrastructures such as cloud environments and clusters.
