Geometer alternatives
Geometer is a geometry solution developed for Mac OS and Windows Operating System to help you draw and manipulate euclidean geometry figures. The developer doesn’t provide any assurances about the tool, but you will definitely find it to your liking. It is lightweight and gives everyone the freedom to experiment with various figures and learn more about them.
It is quite helpful for students studying in primary or higher education and gives them the opportunity to test what they have learned. The features include support for conic sections, points, angles, Bezier curves, lines, arcs, and circles, script mechanism for converting a drawing via fixed series of configurations, option to save the file in Encapsulated PostScript format, and presence of a point-and-click GUI for most tasks but an advanced user can do more by using interesting features.
The software used ASCII format for files, enabling you to edit or create diagrams through computer programs or text editors. Also, you can freely modify the ASCII version directly through Geometer and therefore utilize a mixture of text-based and GUI modifications for the diagram. Lastly, the uses vertices movements to recalculate drawings.
