Lsyncd alternatives
Lsyncd, short for “Live Syncing Daemon”, is an open-source, easy to use and install utility built from scratch to synchronize local directories with remote targets and is a perfect tool for small and big organizations. It performs its tasks by first observing a local directory tree event monitor interface and merging those events for a short while before finally producing single or multiple processes to save the changes.
It operates using rsync and can be installed in no time at all. The utility doesn’t require new block devices or filesystems and doesn’t impact the efficiency of the local filesystem in any way. You can customize it using the provided config file and make it perform according to your needs. Those who have knowledge of the Lua Language can even write their own custom action configs.
