LuxCoreRender alternatives
LuxCoreRender is an advanced open-source rendering engine that can be used with major 3D applications to render 3D models created in them. LuxCoreRender is built on physically based experimented equations and algorithms which means it can trace light and cast shadows with ultra-realistic precision. Those renderings will be physically correct too. Of course, it relies on other applications that create scenes, lights, cameras and just renders them. Applications like Cinema4D, Maya, 3ds Max, Sketchup, and Blender support this plugin.
You can choose between a biased and unbiased mode that results in Speed and Physical accuracy respectively. Instead of RGB colors, it renders with full spectra of light. One of the biggest features of LuxCoreRender is that it creates procedural texture mapping with mathematical calculations instead of stored data that saves space and allows you to create complex infinite textures. HDR output preserves all the dynamic ranges of the model. It has multiple camera options like tilt-shift, panoramic, orthographic, and FPV mode. De-noising, motion blur, depth of field, light flare, bloom, and chromatic aberration are some useful features in LuxCoreRender.
