XSLT in-browser implementation alternatives
XSLT in-browser implementation is a cross-browser API that lets you extend browser functionality to convert XML data into a string of virtual DOM. The main idea of this project is to work with server-side XML processing using jQuery and AJAX. The processor is implemented using JavaScript, using jQuery DOM manipulation powers to create an algorithm that converts XML data into HTML. It is based on the Parsed-XML library.
This API uses XSLT extension to XMLHttpRequest Level 2 standard but can be used in any JavaScript project just like regular XMLHttpRequest. It can be used for browser-side XML transformation. On the client-side, it implements XSLT 1.0 with a small extension. It can run client-side on the Browser, which means that it has the power of JavaScript at its disposal.
